Yes, it should be finished, if all goes well, and there are no problems,
and no community groups file lawsuits to block erecting towers.
And Windows '95 was supposed to be out before 1995 was over half over.
And we were supposed to have been listening to Digital Audio Tape for
the past few years now. And cars were supposed to all get over 50 miles
per gallon by the mid 90's.
If you're picking a wireless communication technology for you own
personal amusement, PCS is a great choice. It might catch on, and if it
doesn't work out, so what.
But if you're picking a wireless communication technology that a
business has to depend on, good old tried-&-true NAMPS cellular works
today, and will still work tomorrow.
BTW, I just sold about a dozen cell phones to a company that had tried
Sprint PCS for a month. Seems they needed to be able to make calls RIGHT
NOW, not at some distant time in the future.
