Hello All, I haven't been her for quite awhile.  I have been busy serving as 
Secretary and Librarian for DC Metro CUB for the last year.  Now, finally 
someone has taken over.  No more lugging books and pamphlets back and forth 
from home to meetings.
I am trying to help all those who were adopted in Maryland or birthmothers 
who relinquished for adoption in Maryland.  If you will either send all 
information you have, publicly (here on Adoptees Information Exchange Echo) 
or privately  to amypla@prodigy.com I'll do whatever I can to help.  I belong 
to a search group that has phenomenal success, so I hope there are those out 
there who either need help themselves or know someone who does.
My son Carlos is now off at the University of Delaware where is he a 
sophomore and really enjoying college life.  For those of you who don't know 
me, I searched for my birthson for three years before I found out that he had 
died in an auto accident at the age of 16.  He would be 34 years old if he 
were still living.  Naturally I was devastated upon hearing this news, but I 
have become determined to help others with whatever they need, emotional or 
search.
Hope to hear from all my old friends and to make some new ones.
