I have found out that PAT do not understand the local IP address while using
PPTP according to Ciscos FAQ (see below) and I assume that means I can't use
a Cisco 700-series for the PPTP.

My question is what will happend using BorderManager VPN Services 3? Is the
originating IP address embadded in the encrytion of BorderManager VPN
Services 3?

Can anybody tell?

Thanks in advance!

O Jonsson

Ciscos FAQ:
Q: Can I use PPTP with PAT?

A: No. PAT translates a local, or private, IP address to the public IP
address and allocates a high port number to the private IP address. This
way, PAT can understand return packets. With PPTP, the originating IP
address (from the Private network) is embedded within the PPTP packet, so
PAT cannot translate it.
