Nice thing about LIST is that you can "direct the screen output to" 
LIST, then mark, and have LIST send what you want to a text file or 
the printer: 

DIR C:\DOS /S | LIST /S

Once that screen output has been sent to LIST, you can scroll down, up, 
find, scan (case sensitive). 

I found LIST so useful that I purchased the Enhanced version, then 
upgraded to ver2.1c. 
The Enhanced version is now up to v2.4t, which upgrades for 95 thru XP. 
It's probably not worth the upgrade price, since I'm still using 
DOS 6.22/Win3.11.
