The regular Disk ][ handles the CP/M diskettes. 6502 boots off the
diskette the usual way, at certain point transfers control to Z80,
then serves disk I/O requests when necessary. I guess the stock RWTS
could've been used.

As the others pointed out, nothing different from the 16 sector format
except for the interleave.
