Works too!! Not sure what you're trying to say here, but with the KTX (GVC) modems, fax Tx and Rx works just fine in both Class 1 and Class 2 modes. However, if you're talking about incoming call discrimination between fax, data and voice though, that's a completely different kettle of fish. The fax side isn't a problem due to the CNG tones, but what about discriminating between data and voice? There are no tones in originate mode, so how does the modem know whether the incoming call is data or voice? Might be about time to standardise on CNG tones for fax, V.8 CI tones for data, and simple, stony cold silence for voice...
