Hello Charles, 'tis a nice day today.

CJ> If I understand what you are trying to do, try this:

CJ> Click on the icon or drive letter in the top upper left of the
CJ> screen. This will bring up a menu that includes Edit. Then expand
 CJ> the Edit menu.

Nogo ! I do not know what OS you are using but I sure do not see
this on my screen here. I am on XP Pro but BW takes over and fills my
screen with a nice pale blue colour, not a BSoD.

CJ> This works in Win95 (and I am pretty sure in XP) as long as you
CJ> are in a DOS window.

I do not know the innards working of BW when accessed from XPP
but it sure looks like a full DOS screen to me and it answers to all
the DOS commands, the ones that I can remember that is.

I have solved my quote or C&P if you want, by going to Esc ->
File -> Read and then I type: " *.doc " and it shows me all the
files.docs in a drop-down menu. I cursor over the one that I want and
bingo, there it is, inserted where the cursor was in my editor.

        Thanks for you time .
