Bbses don't have the same standards for organization as the bigger
services do, so that does tend to lead to confusion sometimes. Just hang
with it--you'll find things on the smaller bbses you'd never see on a
big AOL or Prodigy-type place!

I'm SO jealous! I'd love to have a room with more than one window for
the birds to share. Ah well, NEXT house!

By now, you should've seen the echo rules float past. If you didn't,
holler and I'll repost them. They're fairly simple--in a nutshell they
are: be nice and polite to each other, don't swear or attack, only one
for-sale ad allowed per month per user, and don't waste bandwidth with
off-topic messages. Of course the REAL rules are a bit more complex and
wordy, but the idea is there. Basically what *I* do as moderator is
to act as hostess, monitor traffic, and "police" unacceptable messages
via netmail. Warning--DO NOT become a moderator if you think it's
relaxing; it WILL eat up all your spare time!
