Thank You for the prompt reply, Thom, Your message gave me thoughts and
showed me You have an interest in diabetes care.  I am happy that my
vision clinic has secured themself a OPTO-MAP retina exam machine.  I
was asked to pay an extra charge of 45.00 CDN for the scans of my eyes.
My optometrist is a professional doctor and a fine lady.  She has always
treated my eye care as I needed.  She is very helpful and I entrust my
eye care to Lifetime Vision Centre, my optometrist, and staff too.  I
bought my eyeglasses in 2001.  I will be looking to buy a new pair this
spring.  I use a magnifier/fluorescent lamp to read at night.
I usually get to bed by 11 o'clock each night.  Tonight I am up later.
My bg level tonight at 6:39 p.m. after a 2 hour, 30 minute time since
eating a snack was __ 4.9 mmol/L __ I think this is __ 49.0 mg/dl
