As far as Husky packages go, I tried compiling the basic packages - smapi,
fidoconf, hpt, sqpack, and msged - yesterday and they seem okay or at least
successfully compiled. I still have to configure them but msged seems to
work fine as you can see.
As far as what I personally am interested in then the answer is I am
working on it. :-) I don't know i anyone, let alone the Husky project,
would be interested in that. Right now I am thinking about a C program
equivalent of perl's {un,}pack functions that could be called from a shell
script or commandline and outputted to a file. That would allow for
special formatting of output such as database files, outbound Fido pkt's,
or whatever. My latest search for an existing tool came up empty handed so
now I figure it looks as though I am going to have to do it myself if such
a thing is needed by myself. I think it is.
Does that clear things up?
Life is good,
Maurice
