Check the rules very carefully in the area you're living in. Here in BC
(Canada) we have 24 hours to add a number to our delete list after recieving
the request to do so, and that number must remain on our delete list for 36
months (3 years). IN the event anyone complains about unsolicited faxes, the
first thing that's checked is our compliance with the law. We are extremely
careful to keep up to date with changes in laws governing any advertising we
do, and to comply exactly, Because you have ignored requests to be deleted
from your list, you have no protection under the law if anyone should file a
complaint that they made the request last year and recieved another fax from
you 12 months later (unless the law where you are allows you to resend in 12
months). You're leaving yourself open for expences far, far in excess of
other advertising methods (not to mention that it's really hard to sell
services to individuals who only know the name of your company by being
irritated by it).
