RP> I know Internet access is almost as common as a telephone in the USA
RP> anymore, but was curious about the rest of the world.
in germany internet is not as cheap as in the USA. we have to pay for local
telephone-calls and we have to pay our provider. the transfer-rates are often
bd, so downloading large files via internet sometimes is more expensive than
a long distance file-request via isdn (at night)
but we are waiting for 1998, when our telecom will no longer be the only
phone-provider. hoping for flat rates :-)
