Second, I assume the answer as yes but, are you sure that if your box is a 64bit linux, your bbbs bundle is 64bit too? If not, maybe you have to assure that your 64bit linux has installed the 32bit compatibility layer (and maybe you will have to add multiarch support too). My extra coin is to validate that all is fine with your biinaries: try to stat, file, ldd or strace over any of your binaries and review the output in order to catch problems, insatisfied dependencies, etc..
