in most cases, folks that require some sort of file manager tool and prefer a
text based one will use midnight commander (aka mc)... it is designed after
norton commander (aka nc)... there are other GUI based ones, though... they
don't have to have a name that one is familiar with as long as they look and
act similar to what one wants... it doesn't take much to learn something new
when one has to ;)
