One would certainly think so.  Perhaps the problem is one that has
purportedly been solved with USR's latest US/Canada SDL, where the Courier
is now able to negotiate the 3429 symbol rate with many Rockwells, thereby
increasing the maximum link rate from 31200 to 33600 on those lines which
can support it.

Austel Courier owners should expect a similar update around 1998...  :(
