God dag unge mand,
HG> Yes, I do still use the old ones I have saved stuff on!
BP> why not stick to just use zip ?
I started using computers in 1982, and after a spell with CP/M,
I migrated to the PC world in 1992.
From that year on I have zipped all files larger than 2 kb!
BP> harddest part is to find a usb floppy drive now, and then begin make
BP> zip files of the content files on floppy
The USB floppy drives are useless! They work very poorly with the power
that is supplied by the USB port.
HG> I had to close down Windows and re-start the machine with a pure
HG> (PC)DOS diskette, to do the simple operation of creating a copy of
HG> that old one, while it was still readable
BP> have you searched in windows 10 apps ?
NO, because diskcopy has been included with all operating systems since
CP/M, and was still included in the Windows XP.
That was the previous version of Windows, that I used.
BP> if you dont like it, try http://www.gpsoft.com.au/ directoryOpus
WHY? I have XTree for DOS, ZTBold for OS/2 and ZTreeWin for Windows.
No "*Tree" available for *nix systems.
Ha en bra dag, og en God Jul,
Holger
