I think then we may need a paste of the specific error you get when trying to
compile Golded.

First off, did you traverse into the source directory and edit/rename
golded.__h or whatever it is to golded.h? If so, we need more specifics.

I'm posting from the latest sources of Golded on my Rpi3 and had no issues at
all compiling. I even used WIDE_NCURSES=1 on my make line, though I don't see
any difference without that option.
