From: "Bob May" To: "atmlist" Reply-To: "Bob May" I teach my mirrormakers to rotate the mirror a few degrees by the differential motion of the two hands and a bit of wrist rotation so taht the rotation happens without any stopping or slowing of the stroking of the glass across the tool. Basically, let the one hand do the majority of the pushing and allow for a bit of the rotation of the wrist to let the other side of the mirror fall behind. The weight of both hands is the same so the wear tends to be even across the glass. The other hand pulls the mirror back more than the first hand and that also helps turn the glass. Thus you go back and forth and the mirror rotates slowly as you go.
