What can I say? Ivy Iverson doesn't know what Occam's razor is.
   Occam's Razor:
Given a choice between two hypotheses that explain the evidence
equally well, go with the hypothesis that's simpler.
Occam's Razor is used to slice away *hypotheses*, not evidence. You can't
use it to slice away evidence, because it only comes into play when the
evidence has already been collected.
Admittedly, some people do ignore evidence they don't like, or search only
for evidence to support their view. Alas, this happens.
But Occam's Razor has *nothing* *to* *do* *with* *it*.
