Spring here has been progressing pretty much normally, in spite of the
April snows and cold snaps. The dogwoods are now in bloom. The cool
weather crops (peas, spinach, etc) that can handle a few nights below
the freezing mark, and keep growing, are now in. The next major
planting time will be toward the end of May when the soil gets warm
enough for things like tomatoes and cukes.

I think people kind of hole up in the winter, and see a lot less of each
other than in the summer. I can tell warm weather is coming. My
calendar is getting wierd. Both this weekend, and next, I'm suposed to
do more things than I can possibly accomplish; and be in more places
than is humanly possible. This sort of schedule tends to continue all
summer.
