I'd prefer to see it be an entirely different product if Fred decides to
support RIP. The design philosphy of a RIP terminal flies in the face of
{Commo}'s design. {Commo} is small and runs fast on even the slowest
computers. RIP terminals are almost guaranteed to eat a meg on your hard
drive. RIP terminals hog up processor power.
I can't imagine someone firing up a RIP terminal to do a mail run, using a
complex macro.
But, I can imagine Fred doing a killer job if he ever did write a RIP
terminal.
I use {Commo} for BBSing and RipTerm v1.53 for calling my board in RIP to
test it out. I almost never call anywhere else with RipTerm.
                                Phil
