Do you have ncurses installed on your Pi? I do know that's definitely a
prerequisite. There may be others as well, which I'm sure can be found
somewhere in the Golded docs.

What version of gcc are you using on the Pi? Here I believe I'm using
gcc-6.2.1, which is a fairly new version, iirc.
