I've got all of the updates for both, AFAIK.  But, I will
"reinstall" the DLLs to make sure.

I'll do that also.  There's nothing else that physically touches the
message bases except for Seal, but Seal only touches the netmail (*.MSG)
and six Squish message bases-none of which are involved in this crash.

Thanks for the advice, though-I will attempt to fix it.
