   The problem with UFOlogy is that everybody's hung up on the aliens. All 
the arguments we hear about are focussed on whether UFOs are alien 
acecraft.
   What we need to progress is a study of the evidence with no particular 
theory in mind, leading to an announcement of what the evidence suggests is 
true. But even if that were possible, people would still listen to the
announcement in terms of the ET hypothesis, so it probably wouldn't have any 
effect.
