Hi, just read your notice. three years ago i started hearing noises
like tearing paper now and then and at first it was so real. I put up
with it for a while and it could happen any time. I didn't have to
be lifting or working it would come and i began to think it was high
blood pressure or something. It was so real. I work in a place
that is really loud. I have worked there for almost eighteen years.
also i became more aware of when i would say "Huh" when people were
talking to me and thought it was wear and tear. I also had Lots of wax.
I went to a specialist and he said my hearing was a little bit impaired.
but not much and i had tinnitus. They made a new rule at our newly
ught
out company that we had to wear hair nets and safety glasses and ALSO
EAR PLUGS. I have worn them for almost a year i think. I have no wax
to speak of and i no longer hear that tearing paper. It makes some
ople
think they are crazy. The Doc told me that the brain is so used to
aring
noises that when they aren't there it will make the noises up.
I thought i would pass my experience with tinnitus along to you.
