Yeah, but I wouldn't let comic sales get into the way of a potential cartoon. 
 Perhaps the cartoon could boost the sales as people see the cartoon and say 
"Wow, this dude is cool!".  I think the comic book series is sagging due to 
poor writing and stories.
 
Before an actual Avengers Cartoon is assembled, I would like to have solo 
cartoons for the key players so an audience could be familiar with the who's 
who of the team.  Just like The Super-Friends, they assembled the 4 best 
known characters for the team, rather than give us 4 lesser known characters 
like Robotman, The Red Bee, Mr. Terrific, and Ma Hunkle - The Red Tornado.  
With a line-up of those four I would be too busy trying to figure them out!
