If nothing else, there are some Alphas in WM> the SF compile farm that you can use. Ah.... one option... the source forge farm.... I haven't gotten that far yet. [Still having compile issues here before even attempting a remote compile.] I'd have to look up if the HP RISC VME based hardware I have runs 64 bit with Linux / FreeBSD / NetBSD, etc.... Otherwise I don't have a system here that has an OS supporting clean 64 bits. Also, it's been a while since that hardware has been used so it might not power up. Booting a new OS on the HP RISC platform would also be interesting. We successfully bootstraped the VME hardware for using NextStep 3.1 or 3.2 HP RISC compiled code. Some initial configuration needed to be done with HP UX 9.x with HP's help (hardware and software as I recall) several years ago.... So, I'm not sure how viable this option is.... Idle thoughts.... I haven't been keeping good track... Has any of the Linux / NetBSD / FreeBSD /etc. systems been compiled and use the 64 bit option on the Intel CPU line? [Ok, I need to review where Intel is at on the 32 / 64 bit issue. MS isn't pushing the issue yet....] Take care....
