I never owned an Amiga, but somewhat recently during my research of the
components in various older computers (possibly to order some of the
graphics chips from an old machine for television interfacing in projects I
was considering doing), I learned of what the Amiga had been capable of,
and was impressed.  It seemed to be ahead of its time in some respects.  So
I joined this echo, just to see what sort of chit chat there might have
been. Unfortunately, your message seems to have been the first I've seen!
