The Windows 1.0 announcement was at the hotel, not the play. :-) Whilst waiting for the announcement to start, I went outside for a bit. I watched the doorman hailing cabs for the hotel patrons. Each person tipped the doorman with one or more bills. Presuming each bill was a one dollar bill (unlikely, given the hotel), the doorman was pulling in cash at the rate of over $60k per year.
