I'm great, too, April. Just up early because I have to go to work this 
morning. It was nice to have a 3 day weekend. Did you do anything special for

I live in the San Diego area. If you have a good map, see if you can find 
Poway near San Diego - that's actually where I live. We go through the 
Grapevine almost every time we head for northern California....about ten 
times in 16 years, I think.

I wouldn't be surprised if he did. It's pretty rough country in there if 
you're not on a highway, tho.

Yup, those are the BEST days to go. I have always tried to avoid weekends. 
Another time to try, if you can be really flexible, is on a rainy day. Since 
most of the line areas are covered, you really don't get very wet. We went 
the day after Thanksgiving one year. We expected crowds, but because it was 
raining that day, we rode all of the "E-ticket" type rides in the morning and 
had the afternoon to leisurely ride other things and then go back to the 
E-ticket type rides!

My girls start on Thursday. I'm going to be supplementing their schooling for 
awhile, it looks like.
