Hi Paul,
Do you know what IRQ/address the card is currently set to? Try resetting
it to the factory defaults, there is a jumper on the card for this.
Place a plug on the jumper pins, power up, then off. Remove the jumper
plug and the card should have reset to the defaults (I don't remember
offhand but think these are something like 300h/IRQ5).
Then if the PC powers up ok use the diagnostics program PLUSDIAG.EXE to
set the card to the address/IRQ you want.
Incidentally, does the card only cause this problem in this particular
PC or is it the same in any machine?
