Yep...I recall it now that you mention it, but I never used it.  It either
came along in a later version (I started with .010) or I discovered it
after I'd already done my initial setup.  For routine usage after initial
setup, I actually prefer to let it generate the messages and let me delete
them manually, just so I can inspect them for confirmation that everything
was processed as expected.
