Swamp cabbage and spanish moss? Wow! You're a brave moose. Having
said that, I'll freely admit that some of my own dietary habits may
not be ideal. I blame it on being a bachelor moose, and can only
hope that some comely moosette will decide to save me from myself.

Still, over the years I have picked up a few tips on maintaining a
healthy balanced diet. One of them is the use of multi-vitamins.
More recently, I've also discovered the salutary effects of including
"Pepto-Bismol" as a regular part of my healthy diet!

Very impressive! On the other hoof, if that ever becomes painful,
see above remarks regarding the joys of "Pepto-Bismol." ;-)

This may come under the heading of "no good deed goes unpunished."
Still, I hope she was suitably grateful? (Naturally I'm using
"grateful" in a totally non-sexist single-meaning way.)

Anyroad, I'm happy to see that proper MooseChat AntlerAlignment has
now been established for Don. What really worried me was the chance
of an intermittent problem or a partial AntlerLink break. A partial
AntlerLink break can be more painful, and harder to fix, than an
outright total break. I think it's sorta like how a splintered bone
causes more trouble than a cleanly broken bone.

I've no idea why, but all this talk about splintered bones and broken
antlers has given me the urge to up my calcium intake.

Apparently this was a case of the original DOS-based AreaFix program
hitting a Y2K bug, but I remember that AreaFix could quite happily
screw-up on occasion long before Y2K came along. If I ever get
really bored or masochistic, maybe I'll un-archive my old mail hub
directory and try running some tests.

'Course my time might be more usefully spent doing something really
weird, like starting to "gate" MooseChat into the alt.moose UseNet
newsroup.

Yours in the Way of the Moose, ...Steve
