Hi, Tim! Well written! I agree with you on both points. Following the
traditions and helping the alcoholic who still suffers. If he/she shows up
for a meeting drinking (I did not KNOW how to quit when I first came around -
and I DID attend a few meetings under the influence of Formula 44 D Cough
Medicine, because at the time I didn't know it was cheating . I am glad
no one turned me away, or I would not have made it. In the interest of
traditions, I have seen many groups fold, or hurt recovering alcoholics by
not following them. Good job! Let me know how it is received (probably not
without some grief ! I'm behind you all the way on this one!
