For file areas?  Just point new file areas to the CD-Drive that is mounted.
 There is a plug-in that allows you to have the CD's off-line.  There are
old packages out there that will read some of the old shareware or other
CD's and build the needed files.ctl entries to have the areas defined in
Max....  I'll have to dig out the URL for the current Maximus file web site
since it has changed hands in the last year.....

What specifically are you having trouble with?
