i hear that... one thing that i'd like to see, which is right up your alley,
would be something possibly implementing one of the Type 3 packet proposals...
i seem to recall also a Type 10 proposal but i'm not sure that is not a play on
Type 2 but in binary... anyway, at least one of the Type 3 proposals was all
text oriented, IIRC...
