Sounds very much like CONCEPT. After a cleanup, some NORMAL.DOT are 
completely useless, and have to be recreated from scratch.
But if you are infected, before cleaning it up, look at the macro's, list 
them, and study the code, to see what it does. You can netmail me the 
results, I'm interested, because I run a 300-PC's network with Word as the 
standard WP.

That is no problem. Once the virus is removed, you can load the document, and 
the Save As ... function should word properly, again.
