Less and less likely nowadays.  There's always also the possibility that
after a vaginal delivery there might be complications that would
preclude another one...  Always some possibilities of problems, but
generally not worth worrying about, unless there are specific risk
factors in one's own case.

That sounds like it comes from raw statistics again.  Part of what goes
into that is that a number of caesarean births are done because the
mother is having her umpteenth child, and this one is bigger than the
last with a deteriorating uterus to boot, so the mother is advised to
call it quits.  Another part is that there just might not BE another
pregnancy in the wings for that mother, of whatever age, for whatever
reason, possibly related to the previous births and possibly not at all
related.
