We have a new game we 'discovered' during some late night design sessions
over the summer...

We have a few large white boards in our conference room and they have a
small shelf for the pens. The object is to lean over the conference table
and toss a pen into/onto this shelf. It's a pretty hard thing to do, but
as with anything. Practice makes perfect. The game is 4 sets of 5 pens
with each player alternating his toss. If there is a tie and the end of
20, we have a sudden pen period of alternating tosses... the winner in that
case is a
'golden' pen. That shows the english influence. Of the three of
us that play this game, 2 are english. We have had games of 6 successful
tosses on a side. In the average game, we probably score at least 3-4
pens.

A couple times a week after solving a hard problem, someone will call for a
game of pen... good fun and good stress relief.

Our company is just 8 months old. We all are partners. We all are working
our butts off right now and someday will look back and smile when we recall
these first days.

Cheers,
Rich
