what do you mean "too"?? that's the way windows update has always
worked... at least for the big multipart things like the IE updates and
such... that's why i've always done the "corporate" download of
those that want to scan the box and then download and install as they go...
that way i had the full package available for any/all machines that might
need it... in the case of IE and OE, this generally means/meant that the
huge package had the stuff needed for win9x, winnt, win2k, winme, and i
guess now, winxp (did i miss any of them?)... that way i could point any of
the machines on the network to the proper directory on a/the server and get
the update no matter what flavor of pane was being used ;)
