I'm actually just on net 229 because Nick was awesome enough to respond to
my initial newsgroup post on how I might get involved with Fidonet again
these days.  When I first started talking to him, I thought I wanted to get
a node number more for my area (region 18, probably net 116), but he went
ahead and set me up with one in his net since it was easiest and quickest
at the time, and said I could always change it later.  As I kept using it
though, I realized it just doesn't matter these days where you originate
from now thanks to the internet, and figure I'll stick with this one.  I
think he has some other folks not from that area under his wing, as well.
