Why? Only the TH-75A requires a Ham radio license to XMIT, GMRS is
covered by other licensing with nothing to do with Ham radio????
Thats like demanding a ham license to buy a Cell phone, or VHF Buisness
band radio, etc. Anybody can go into RS and buy a Marine/UHF/VHF radio?
