Hi Albano,

I just rescanned this area after your netmail pointed me to it.

Telling from your AKA you're running a point system. FMAdd was designed to
be run on a node system that wants to support the CDPoint protocol, and
adds new point entries to the FMail configuration by interpreting a control
file that was generated by the master CDPoint process. There is no need at
all to run it as a point system. This holds true for the entire FreePoint
system.

The first question would be: why would you want to run the FreePoint
system? It seems you have a working point system. The FreePoint system was
designed to give new points instance access to FidoNet by interacting with
a node system that supports the CDPoint protocol, i.e. runs the FreePoint
software. It is not supposed to be run on a point system, and you
apparently don't need it. Correct me if I'm wrong on this.

regards
        Eike
