 I composed this reply a few days ago and am not sure it I ever posted
 it.  If I did just over look it.

 My memory may be weak but I think I have seen in the past that you use
 TSE Jr for your editor.  If this is true in your above use of the
 Esc->File->Read can you type in the complete path and file name and
 then try to insert the file.

 Another way might be to open the file with something like notepad or
 another existence of TSE Jr and then highlight and copy to the
 clipboard what you want to insert.  Then when you are editing the
 message to be sent paste from the clipboard.  This is done from using
 the mouse and right click with TSE Jr open and choosing the paste from
 the clipboard item in the dropdown menu.
