*** Quoting Nancy Backus from a message to CAROL SHENKENBERGER ***

Ah ok. Minor glitch now fixed then. Happens now and again.
CS> necklace.
NB> Sounds lovely... :)
It is. I'm wearing one of the new skirts (I like the full length flouncy ones)
and a camisole just now. It's cold outside but military housing is overheated
and you cant adjust the temperature, just how hard the heater blows.
CS> And Charlotte? Lord almighty! Don must have gotten every toy at
CS> JCpenny that fits her age group. Some of them, I wanna play with!
NB> Those should keep her busy for a while! :) I can see why you'd want
NB> help her play with them, too....
The rock tumbler has been going for days now . Takes about 7 days to make a
bundle up. I'll have to see where I can get more of the 'sand' for it.
NB> I think all three of you made out like bandits, for sure...!! :)
We did!
NB> We've had a quiet Christmas so far... Richard had both Christmas Eve
NB> and Christmas day nights off from work, so we spent Christmas awake at

I can imagine. I'm often away but have been lucky to be home for Xmas except
once. Have had duty though when w had to swap to do our 'thing' on Xmas eve a
few times.
NB> will be around 50 people there from my great-niece and -nephew just bo

NB> Given that we haven't any money to speak of this year for gifting, I'l

Works for me!
I've also done the 'gift exchange' thing before in situations like that. I just
set the price to '5$ or less' and can do it with 'any name' or a set name.
Everyone brings something then picks out one from the bag (that they didnt
wrap).
Meantime, Charlotte's using the one I thought she wouldnt like. EZ Bake oven.
Since we cook alot, I thought that one too simple but she likes it.
