Thanks for the offer David. The solutions offered have more than 
sped the function up enough. The image analysis part is now generally 
less than a second whereas acquiring the image is 10-12 seconds. Speeding 
up the analysis will not increase the pages per minute I can handle up 
enough to make it worthwhile. (one of those 80%-20% effort things.)
