I have a problem trying to install Novell Netware 4.10 onto a new
Pentium III motherboard w/129Mbytes memory. During the install after
selecting the 3Com905b NIC to install the LAN driver, I get a screen
which asks for a "Slot #" and the help hint below this entry box
says...

(enter a number from 1-8)

As far as I can discern this response might be because the Novell
install software is thinking that this is a EISA motherboard or
Microchannel MB by mistake. Has anyone seen this response and can
anyone offer a solution to this particular and puzzling problem so I
can proceed with the install?

TIA
Rich
