I write makefiles by hand. I don't use IDEs much these days, but when I
do, I'll just look at my makefile and manually create a project file from
it. Which is much easier than creating a makefile from a project file,
unless the IDE has the ability to generate one, in which case it usually
turns out to be an syntactic mess and/or full of redundancy.
If you build a target from a project file with Watcom's IDE, it will
generate *.mk file. You can then use "wmake -f project.mk", but
if you try using DMAKE instead it will complain about it because it's very
WMAKE-specific (and not like a standard makefile).
