Probably because Microsoft is starting to become very concerned about Linux
on the desktop.  I'm seeing a lot of "ad hoc" grass roots
comments about how bad Linux is for the desktop lately on the various
message boards.

It's funny when you see the same, or very similar, sentences on different
message boards.   Similar to reading the same phrasing in
articles about Microsoft in both InfoWorld and PCWeek. back in the good old days....
