Hi,
Can anyone shed any light on what might cause inconsistant NT 4.0
startups using Novell's client 4.5 for NT? After the user enters the
password for the network, the machine freezes. Nothing short of a cold
boot suffices to restart the machine, and if both services aren't
starting, it will take several cold starts to finally boot. Removing
this client and replacing it with the MS one totally eliminates the
problem, however it would be nice to know what is ultimately causing
this. For now I have been removing all NT network services, protocals,
and nic hardware and reinstalling Service pack 4 along with the
reinstalling network services. Ideas anyone......Thanks.....
